Spending Time With Mamar
On Saturday Eden was working so Chloe and I went to visit Mamar. Chloe likes visiting Mamar and Gramps because she gets treats and they have lots of pets. Chloe has always loved animals but the closest thing that we have to pets at our house is a Tickle Me Elmo which makes Marmas extra special.Chloe is fascinated with Mamar's cat but unfortunately for its sake it isn't very clever. Whenever it is near Chloe power crawls to her and pulls her tail (we are still working on the word 'gentle') and the cat just sits there meowing. As a result the cat is locked away when we visit, something Chloe isn't very impressed with.
Lately Chloe has been interested in dogs but she has not had much experience with them so we let Prissy, Mamar's little fluffy dog, in to have a play with Chloe. To make it worth her while we got out some treats for Chloe was to feed her (a bit reluctantly at first because she wanted to eat them herself). Chloe was making a 'd' noise (for dog) and a 'oo' noise (for woof) before the play with Prissy but she is now saying it whenever she sees a dog (or horse).

After feeding Prissy Mamar took Chloe out to feed the chickens. For this Chloe was more of a close observer but she was still very interested.
Today while I was at work my sister, who babysits Chloe for me, visited Mamar. I was told that they had more outside fun, Chloe was constantly saying dog and woof, and when she was shown a lady bug she tried to eat it.

Gramps, you make me sound so old. It is great to see Chloe having fun with her Grandmother and all the pets. Chloe has come out of her shell and is constantly entertaining.
